Who can participate?
Everyone can participate for the rest of this week. Starting Monday, April 13th we will only be sending zoom links to those who are keeping their memberships open. If anyone in your family is on a membership feel free to let the whole family join in.
How will attendance work and be tracked?
Simply attend at least two zoom classes per week just like a regular class. If you miss one do an extra one the following week. We can see who logs on and for how long from our zoom screen. If you log on more than 15 minutes late it will not count. When logging into zoom please type your real first and last name so we can give you credit. A parent’s name is ok too. Just please use a full name we recognize to avoid confusion. If you are using an iPhone PLEASE email us that you attended because sometimes the names don’t pop up.
What to wear?
If possible wear a Taekwondo uniform and belt to give you the mindset of being in the dojang.
When do the links go out?
The links will go out each day 2-3 hours before the sessions start. The title of the email will tell what class it is for.
If you have any questions or concerns let us know.
Miss you all and can’t wait to see your smiling, sweaty faces online.

From the Instructing Staff of KICKS Tae Kwon Do and KICKS II:
As you are aware, there is much controversy about public contact in all businesses and schools. For this reason, we are planning to close our studio through April 4th, however if situations improve, we will keep you up to date and hope to reopen by April 6th. (If conditions improve, we will inform you about the schools and open sooner). We feel it necessary to take this precautionary action, to keep our students safe and healthy.
We plan on taking extra precautions upon your return, we suggest: please bring slip-on shoes or flip flops to wear during bathroom breaks, and wash your hands often.
We apologize for any inconvenience for you and this was a tough decision for us to make, however we feel this is the right decision due to the spread of the Covid-19 (Corona virus). This is the best way to use our self-defense.
We are planning to have many additional classes and activities upon reopening. We will keep you informed through emails. However, if you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone 734-728-3027.
We will stay open for regular classes and testing at this time.
We are taking the proper measures to make sure our mats are clean and disinfected as well as the rest of our facility. Please use hand sanitizer upon check-in for class and also after class.
We advise you to please stay home if you are feeling sick or have a fever.
If a family member brings you to class and is feeling sick or has a cough, we respectfully ask them to wait in the car while you have class.
Steps you can take:
• Please wash your hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds and wash them often.
• Avoid touching your face and eyes.
• Wash your uniform as well as all of your gear after each class.
Wayne-Westland schools are closed again today, Thursday February 26th, for weather. Kicks and Kicks II will be closed as well.

Congratutations to the twelve new black belts and three new second degrees!
Saturday morning gave us a small but good gup testing. Several juniors received their 9th and 8th gups and two new red belts!
